Couples will find Peewit Cottage a straightforward base for a North Yorkshire break. The former agricultural building sits on an 80-acre sheep farm roughly a mile and a half from Lealholm, which has a pub, restaurant, shop, post office and railway station. The cottage is positioned next to the farmhouse, with open views across green fields and moorland, and can be rented alongside Curlew Cottage if two couples want to share the same location.
Everything happens on two floors in this converted space. Downstairs, an open-plan living area contains a TV, DVD and CD player, with a dining section and kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, ceramic hob, and a combined microwave-oven-grill. A shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs is a double bedroom. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi. Outside, a patio with garden furniture and BBQ access is provided, and a bike store is available on site. One car can park privately on the grounds.
The property does not accept children under 16. Smoking is not permitted inside.
