What visitors say
Jayne one of the site owners sold us a beautiful pre owned caravan last year and we absolutely love it. It is incredibly peaceful and tranquil—there’s nothing better than listening to the wind and rain from such a cozy spot. The site owners are always on hand to answer your call and help with any requests. Daniel does a fantastic job maintaining the grounds in all weathers, we also appreciate that the owners drive around several times a day just to ensure everything is okay. It's dog-friendly with two dog walking areas, we look forward to coming as often as time permits and are lucky enough that the site is open 12 months a year as we both work and do not always have the time off together. We hope to be here for many more years to come. Thank you again for such a beautiful site.

Myself and my wife have enjoyed our stays at Greenwood Leghe since 2014. Greenwood Leghe is a privately owned park that is managed by the very attentive Stocks family. The park and its grounds are immaculately maintained and tended by Daniel. Jayne ensures the Park is managed to a very high standard for the enjoyment of all owners, both with the help of their parents. A hearty well done and thank you from ourselves. Greenwood Leghe sets itself apart as it is a Static only park for the pleasure of the static caravan owners and this makes for super relaxed stays. We have experience of other mixed visitor sites where motor homes and caravans come and go with bustling site offices. The peacefulness at Greenwood Leghe with its impressive tree lined approach as you enter the park that leads to gently rising grounds where the caravans are sympathetically sited to sit among the many mature trees and shrubs, plus the view of the mountain of Ingleborough. Greenwood Leghe is situated just outside Ingleton and a short walk takes you to the village. Plus, a recently re-built convenience store/ petrol station on A65 at Ingleton makes for that extra ease for supplies. We live 80 miles from Ingleton and so having Greenwood Leghe as our base as we set off on our journeys, either by motorcycle or car, visiting many area's of the Dales, Lake District and the Borders. These are such wonderful and scenic area's we are blessed with. For example the road from Stainforth to Halton Gill by bike, motorbike or car 'has it all', just take a picnic and sit an image the glacier as it created this incredible area.

We have owned a caravan at Greenwood for over a year now, and look forward to remaining here for many years to come. Whilst first impressions are very formal, the owners are attentive and caring; Dan does an amazing job at the upkeep of the site, which is always well maintained, and he has helped us at all hours for various Caravan emergencies, which we have always been very grateful for. Jayne is always open to being contacted for help as well, and they both will always wave hello whilst passing on site. We have a dog as well, and the dog friendly areas, of which there are two, are both great for him. The site location is perfect, feeling both remote and quiet, with some nice views of surrounding hills, including Ingleborough. It is also only a 15 minute walk to the nearest local shop, and 20 minutes into Ingleton. Whilst there isn't any park on site (we have a young boy) , this doesn't bother us in the slightest, as its still a lovely walk around site, with ball games allowed on the large grassed area, and the local play park in Ingleton is close enough anyway.
