Well worth a visit. Good deep cave experience with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. The best time to see it is after rain, but be aware that too much rain will force a closure - it’s a living cave and the whole system can flood at times. Be ready to get pretty wet - from above and below. A waterproof, and wellies or hiking boots are a good idea. You’ll be grateful for the helmet they give you every time you bang your head, which you will.

Came across this cave through a leaflet we got last summer from the Westwood Book shop and library from Sedberg near Frostview Row and decided to book a family of four visit, it was so easy to book and find this place. My family and I loved the caves and the guided tour and my older son was all hyped as he learnt about stalactite and stalagmites at school and learnt about them elsewhere too and he got to see them through live experience and thoroughly enjoyed the visit through the beautiful cave system with well versed staff and guide with excellent information about everything form the floods, stalactites stalagmites, the fossils and the Cavern. Would highly recommend a visit and would love to come here again with family.

Great experience, some narrow pathways and two stretches where ceiling height is an issue and you have to bend double to get through. Lots of steps into the main cave but not too steep. Lots of interesting facts from the guide, nice coffe shop on site, plenty of free parking

The UK's longest cave has a great walkway and everything's set up for cave adventures. It's got history too. A nice experience. An easy cave walk for adults and kids just one thing, mind your heads.
