Great Broughton is a small village in North Yorkshire where The Jet Miners Inn sits on the High Street as both a working restaurant and campsite. Pitches are available for caravans and tents among the village community, with showers on site for guests.

The main draw here is the kitchen. The restaurant serves fresh, seasonal food including handmade pies and daily specials like sea bream with risotto, with a Sunday carvery that draws diners from beyond the village. Food would have definitely got five stars but for my one pet hate - Main item put on top of the chips; it makes them soggy. Also, not a fan of the curry sauce. But that was all I would change. Really tasty, good value for money, excellent service and ambiance. Will return for sure.

Really like this place! The Sunday carvery is always plentiful and *very* tasty. The staff are obviously trained well as they offer to help older customers, they're friendly and attentive. Been here several times now since mid 2025 and will keep returning.

Well what can I say! The service, the hospitality and the food were all top shelf! Johan, Elina, Brad and the rest of the staff are all amazing, polite and efficient. We had a fantastic meal and a fabulous chat with owner, Johan. We cannot wait to go back to sample more of the menu. Thanks Jet Miners team, see you in September... If not before. Another fantastic visit tonight for the South African Themed Weekend. Same warm and fantastic hospitality with awesome food and beautiful presentation. Thanks again for an unforgettable night x

Had a fantastic family meal on Friday night with the family. The service was spot on, not rushed and enough time to choose what you wanted. Highly recommended The Jet Miners, this is how a pub should be and will be back.
