We were blessed with lovely weather and enjoyed a marvellous few days here. A totally tranquil location along country lanes. Beautiful views, great wildlife and charming owners. Facilities were all we desired. Also very good walking in the vicinity.

One of our favourite sites in the Hambleton hills of the moors north of York. Quite a sloping site so either accept it sleep wonky or spend ages trying to level up. Thought the camper van there last time was funny at such an angle. Our caravan was easy enough to get into place at the drier area up the slope and towards the entrance. Only possible to park sideways on in most vans. Good access to water and electric points, and facilities by way of gents and ladies toilet and showers. Nice bike riding lanes almost traffic free, but beware, Google says “mostly flat” and it isn’t flat at all, there are some short sharp hills whichever way you cycle from here. No distance to Easingwold for convenience store and good food pubs, but not a lot close to the site itself. Great night skies for astronomers, and the hosts are fantastic. One star off because of the challenging pitching but that is a tad harsh, we keep going back every year so it can’t be bad

Cracking CL, up a single track lane, not flat but u can pitch were u won't & lot's of leveling wood, friendly owners, clean bogs&showers, washer&dryer takes tokens, lovely & peaceful, horses in paddock, cracking views, defo come back

What a lovely cl sites very warm welcome from the owner clean toilet and shower if you want peace and quiet this is for you £15 a night with ehu narrow lanes to get there but worth a visit
