About Newburgh House
Step into one of the six rooms at Newburgh House and small touches set the tone: fresh milk in the fridge, a slice of homemade cake, and spotless, comfortable furnishings that guests consistently note. It's the kind of detail that makes a stay feel personal rather than routine, backed up by a warm welcome from the people who run the place.
Breakfast is a proper occasion here, with a good spread of choices and homegrown produce making its way onto the table. Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar, a garden to sit out in, and open fires that keep the place feeling cosy when the weather turns. The property also has a lift, an indoor swimming pool, a spa and sauna, and free on-site parking, and it welcomes pets and hosts weddings, with childcare available for those who need it.
Newburgh House is based in Coxwold, within easy reach of York Minster and the Shambles, and there are pubs, restaurants and other entertainment nearby for evenings out. It makes a comfortable base for exploring York without having to stay in the thick of the city itself.

A lovely B&B in a beautiful setting. Our room as very spacious and the breakfast was very nice with a good variety of choices. The hosts Ryan and Andy were very friendly, but even more so were their lovely pet family! Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Stayed here for one night as it was a voucher gift of my daughter. The booking was taken over the phone with a voucher number. Unfortunately we had to up grade as we had to share a bathroom. It cost an extra £ 50, not sure the price was great !!! The room, called the garden room was large, out look onto the garden. Tea / coffee tray with home made brownies, nice. Bathroom was a good size but no shower. Breakfast in the morning was very nice, pre ordered the night before. Staff where friendly and informative when we checked in. Would we stay again, maybe if goingbto that area

Amazing stay at this gorgeous and cosy B&B. Perfectly located for great walks and amazing pubs and food. Hosts were extremely accommodating and we felt like we were at a home away from home. Open fires always roaring away and topped up, great food and drinks on offer and kindly organised taxis for us for a meal out. Can’t wait to return.
