One small dog can stay free of charge, though the property is reserved for couples and families rather than groups.

Over two floors, the cottage has a bright kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, opening into a dining area; a sitting room with a 37-inch Smart TV; two bedrooms (one with a king bed and 32-inch TV, one with two single beds); and a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. On-site parking for two cars is a genuine advantage in Filey's busy town centre. The property was refurbished in 2020.

The beach itself—golden and long enough to walk for miles—is a five-minute stroll away. Beyond the seafront's promenade and beach huts lie tea rooms and independent shops on the doorstep, while Flamborough's chalk cliffs and seabird colonies are nearby. No smoking inside.
