Greta Cottage is a stone-built property in Ingleton, a village at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The River Greta runs just 10 yards from the front door, and Grade II listed Ingleton Viaduct is visible from the cottage. The building has character typical of the area, with a patio garden looking out towards the water.
Downstairs is an open-plan living space with a wood-burning stove, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with gas hob and electric oven. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a kingsize double and a single—plus a bathroom with bath and shower. The cottage sleeps three and is yours alone; essentials including heating, electricity, linen, towels and wifi are all covered. There is on-road parking, and no smoking indoors.
Ingleton itself has a pub within walking distance and local shops including a bakery. The surrounding area is known for waterfalls, limestone caves and mountain walks; Ingleborough is accessible on foot from the village. The Settle-Carlisle railway and Ribblehead Viaduct are about 10 minutes' drive away. Settle and Hawes market towns are within 30 minutes.
