Horcum View
North Yorkshire
Lockton sits on the edge of the North York Moors, a landscape of moorland, forests and valleys that draws walkers, cyclists and history hunters year-round. The steam railway at Levisham, just half a mile away, runs through the heart of the National Park; abbeys, castles and cycle routes fill the wider area. Horcum View is a single-storey bungalow positioned to make the most of this setting, with views across the moors from its half-acre grounds.
The property sleeps four across two bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with two singles. A shower room serves the sleeping quarters. Downstairs is arranged for ease—living room with an open fire, kitchen and dining space, utility room, and a conservatory that opens to the garden. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; the fire comes laid ready to use. You get private parking for two cars and a bike store. One dog is welcome at no extra cost, though the sheep farming landscape means they need to stay on a lead.
A pub and restaurant are within a mile. The nearest shop is six miles away. No smoking indoors.
