Hungate Garden Cottage is a substantial five-bedroom property that sleeps up to 12 guests across three bathrooms. Everything needed for a self-catering stay comes as standard: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and superfast Wi-Fi are all covered. The kitchen is equipped for cooking anything from simple meals to dinner parties, with an electric range, dishwasher, American-style fridge and microwave. One well-behaved dog stays free of charge.

A utility room handles laundry, and a large garden with furniture and barbecue looks onto landscaped grounds. Parking for five cars is available on site, and a pub is within walking distance. The property sits on the edge of Pickering, close enough to access the town's castle, museum and independent shops, yet positioned to reach the North York Moors easily.
