Langbaurgh Hall - Coach House
North Yorkshire
Walk through the door of Coach House and you're met with a generous ground-floor space that pulls light from both sides—a living and dining area arranged around a working wood-burning stove, with glass doors opening onto your own patio. The kitchen sits separately, fitted with an induction hob, electric oven and dishwasher for everyday cooking. A downstairs toilet completes this level, keeping traffic flowing smoothly when the house is full.
Upstairs, three bedrooms are arranged for flexibility: two doubles at 4ft 6in, and a three-quarter double at 4ft. An ensuite shower room and a separate family shower room mean no morning queues. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, as is initial fuel for the stove. Wifi keeps you connected if you need it, though the appeal here is stepping outside onto the estate itself—1.3km of walking trails thread through the grounds, there's a walled garden to explore, and a children's play area if you're bringing family. Private parking for two cars sits on-site. The property doesn't allow smoking. Great Ayton, where Coach House stands, sits on the edge of the North York Moors and beside the Cleveland Hills, making it a base for walks rather than just a place to sleep.
