Lockwood Barn

Lockwood Barn is a converted barn in the village of Salton, close to Malton and the North Yorkshire countryside. The property is yours alone, sleeping four guests across two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Ground floor accommodation includes a bedroom with a king bed and ensuite, plus an open-plan living and dining space that opens onto a patio and garden. Upstairs, the second bedroom has a zip-and-link bed (which can be two singles) and shower room. A wood-burning stove sits in the main living area alongside a television, and the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine.

Outside, a garden with furniture and barbecue provides space for eating or sitting. The property has parking for two cars on site. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered, along with fuel for the stove. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra charge. The cottage does not permit smoking.

Salton sits within reach of St John of Beverley Church at Salton, and Malton itself—known locally as Yorkshire's food capital—is nearby with independent shops, restaurants and delis. The area suits countryside walks and exploring the region's villages and heritage sites.
