About Woodpecker Pods

Gorgeous pods on a spankingly clean and blissfully peaceful little site near the North York Moors National Park—the setup at Woodpecker Pods really delivers. Based three miles from Kirkbymoorside, 15 minutes' drive from Helmsley and Pickering, and half an hour from both York and the Yorkshire coast, this friendly little park serves up warm welcomes and spectacular scenery in an area packed with outdoor pursuits: walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding and golf.

Each pod sleeps up to four and comes with outdoor furniture, a firepit, and a patio for sipping wine under the stars. A big covered communal barbecue deck invites mingling with mates or fellow guests. WiFi is available, and each pod has a private shower and toilet allocated to it. Market towns and small villages with shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets are within a short drive.

Just got back from a nice weekend away with family. We had a nice warm welcome as we arrived, Mick had the heating on in the pods so they were nice and toastie for us, and he was also stoking up the fire. 🤗 This is our 2nd visit here, and we will definitely be going back in the near future.

Visited with family and friends and we loved it. Very private and very quiet place with great hosts and pods, facilities, playground, parking etc. The and grilling are with roof was a added bonus 100% recommend

Small friendly family run site situated on the edge of the fantastic North Yorkshire Moors, quite spot with good facilities and near to two towns ,good base for visiting coast or countryside .
