Low Lodge
North Yorkshire
The Broughton Hall Estate spreads across 3,000 acres of North Yorkshire countryside, and Low Lodge sits at its entrance with views across the parkland and grounds. Skipton's market town lies three miles away. The village setting is peaceful but not remote—a pub is within a mile, and the estate itself has facilities including a wellbeing centre called Avalon.
Low Lodge is a ground-floor property, which means no stairs to manage. Two bedrooms, each with a super kingsize bed, and one bathroom with a roll-top bath are arranged around a bright living space with a wood burner and large windows onto the grounds. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking; there's also a utility room. Essentials like electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The courtyard has garden furniture and a BBQ, and you can park two cars on site. The whole place is yours alone during your stay.
Walking the estate to spot wildlife, visiting Broughton Hall itself, or heading into Skipton for its shops and restaurants are all within reach. A stream runs through the grounds some distance from the lodge. Smoking is not permitted inside.
