Malrose

Malrose is a three-bedroom terraced house on a quiet street in Whitby, a short walk from the town centre and beach. You get the whole place to yourself: ground floor has two separate living areas (one with a woodburner, one with a gas fire), a kitchen with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher, and a shower room. Upstairs are three bedrooms—one with a double and single bed, one double, one single—plus a bathroom with a bath and shower. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

The house suits families or small groups wanting space to spread out, with enough seating across two lounges if the weather keeps everyone indoors. There's an enclosed courtyard at the back and on-road parking. From here, the seafront is walkable, and Whitby's shops and restaurants are within a few minutes. The North Yorkshire coast beyond—Scarborough, Bridlington, the Cleveland Way clifftop walks—is easily reached by car or public transport (the train and bus stations are nearby). No smoking inside the property.
