Maple House Retreat

This single-bedroom property is a ground-floor conversion in the village near Darlington, designed entirely for your use. Everything is on one level: a combined living room and kitchen where you can cook properly, a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and an ensuite bathroom featuring a freestanding roll-top bath alongside a separate shower room. The essentials—heating, power, bed linen, towels and wifi—are all provided, along with a welcome pack when you arrive.

The kitchen is equipped for actual cooking rather than heating takeaways. The bathroom offers both a deep bath and a walk-in shower, so you can choose how you want to wash. There is private parking for two cars on site and a bike store. The property is non-smoking.

The village location puts you within walking distance of the Crown Inn, with Darlington town centre a short drive away. This makes it a practical base for exploring North Yorkshire and County Durham. The rural setting means quiet surroundings, though you are never far from shops, restaurants and the larger attractions of the region.
