About Hillcrest Park
Richmond in North Yorkshire sits on the edge of the Pennines, a market town with a castle and access to walking country. Hillcrest Park serves the area with caravan and motorhome pitches, all with electric hook-ups, plus glamping accommodation and static lodges or pods for those without their own vehicle.
Showers are on site. The facilities are functional rather than extensive, so this works best for people using it as a base to explore the town and surrounding countryside rather than as a destination in itself.

What visitors say
Stayed in one of the cottages after a very last minute booking on good Friday after our original booking elsewhere was deemed unsuitable by ourselves. The cottage was lovely and warm and it appears that a lot of the oven ware and utensils had just been renewed. Well equipped in all aspects the beds were especially comfortable. The one negative? The internal doors wouldn't close on the latch. Therefore, when ever the wind got up they banged against the doorframe. The site though busy was still very quiet and tranquil. Well presented and maintained.

I Recently Had a really great stay at Hillcrest Country Park in the bowes hideaway, Everything was fresh and well looked after , and the views are honestly great. It’s super peaceful and just a nice place to switch off for a bit. Will definitely be back! 🌟

Lovely private feeling retreat. Very Nice hosts. A memorable trip for all the right reasons. A lot of effort went into setting this up ,many thanks to Kate and Ed Breakfast on the decking in the sunshine was great, supper on the patio with the gas heater a real treat. You will love it here.

Very nice place to stay, beautiful views and a great location. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was a good size for 4 of us and had all the amenities you'd need. A good base to start your journey through the beautiful countryside and surrounding areas.
