One Beckside

Step into One Beckside and you're immediately in the middle floor—an open-plan living and dining space with a well-equipped kitchen, where you can cook proper meals on an electric cooker or use the combi microwave and grill. A woodburner and Smart TV anchor the living area. Upstairs is the second bedroom, a double with its own bathroom featuring a bath and shower. Downstairs, on the ground floor, sits the first bedroom with two single beds that zip together as a double, plus a shower room. The cottage stretches across three floors in a former fisherman's cottage dating from the 1820s, renovated to a high standard throughout.

Staithes is a historic coastal village where Captain James Cook served his apprenticeship, and the village has featured in numerous TV productions. The beach and cove sit within easy reach, and the Cleveland Way National Trail and Yorkshire Heritage Coast are at hand for walking. Local shops, pubs and restaurants are minutes away. One dog stays free. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. There is on-road parking and a terrace with seating. No smoking is permitted.
