Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage comes ready for a self-catering stay with everything needed for cooking and comfort already in place. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, so you can prepare proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included. A woodburner in the living room takes the chill off autumn and winter evenings, with logs available locally.

The cottage holds five people across three bedrooms: two doubles and a single. The single bathroom has a bath with shower over. Ground-floor access means no stairs to the main living spaces, though there are two steps up to the garden. A travel cot and highchair are on hand for younger children. The enclosed, lawned garden has patio furniture and space to sit out; there is parking for one car on site.

Houlsyke is in the North Yorkshire Moors, close to villages and within reach of the Yorkshire Heritage Coast. The property doesn't allow smoking. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge.
