Ryehills Farm - The Workshop
North Yorkshire
View on Google MapsPickering sits on the edge of the North York Moors, a market town of independent shops, galleries and antique dealers that makes a good base for exploring the national park. The Workshop occupies a converted barn on the outskirts, in open countryside with fields visible from the windows. It's a single storey property with one bedroom and one bathroom, designed as a complete retreat for two people with their own hot tub and private garden.
The living space is open plan, flowing from a well-equipped kitchen through a dining area to a sitting room with a wood burner and 65-inch smart TV with Netflix. Bi-fold doors open onto a patio. The bedroom contains a kingsize bed and smart TV; the en-suite has both a slipper bath and a separate walk-in shower. One dog stays free, and there's a highchair if needed. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered, along with initial logs for the burner and a welcome pack.
The enclosed back garden is the main feature—a private hot tub sits under a gazebo with garden furniture and barbecue space nearby. There's parking for one car. The property does not permit smoking.
