Seacot

Seacot is a detached cottage positioned at the top of Runswick Bay in North Yorkshire, with views across the cliff tops toward the sea. The village itself tumbles down toward a wide sandy beach, sheltered by rugged cliffs. On-site parking for two cars and a secure bike store mean you can explore the coastline on foot or by bike without worrying about transport.

The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: two doubles and a pair of single beds. Bedroom three opens onto a private balcony facing the water. Downstairs, you have a living room with an open fire, a kitchen equipped with an Aga and full appliances including a dishwasher, and a shower room with a double shower. An ensuite bathroom serves the upstairs bedroom. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; there's also a travel cot and highchair available if needed.

The setting suits walking holidays—cliff-top paths stretch along the North Yorkshire coast toward Whitby, nine miles away. Runswick Bay itself has enough character to spend time in, while the wider area includes the North Yorkshire Moors National Railway and access to numerous coastal towns.
