The Artists Cottages - Meadow View Cottage

Meadow View Cottage suits couples or groups of four seeking a rural base without children present. The property is yours alone—a semi-detached cottage on the edge of Middleton village, within reach of Pickering's market town amenities and the wider moorland landscape beyond. Two bedrooms sleep four: one contains a four-poster double bed, the other a standard double. The single bathroom has a bath with shower attachment.

Downstairs, the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances, opening onto a dining area. The living room has substantial sofas for the evenings. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; you'll also have parking for two cars on site. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.

A pub and tearoom are less than ten minutes' walk away in the village. Pickering itself, where the market runs on Mondays, lies close by—the heritage railway departs from there for journeys into the valleys and villages toward Whitby. The North York Moors stretch around you in all directions.
