The Farm House - West Wing

The Farm House – West Wing sits on a working organic farm in rural North Yorkshire where guests can buy fresh vegetables and soft fruit directly from the owners. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: a king on the ground floor and two singles upstairs, with one bathroom. A woodburner in the living room, central heating, electricity, bed linen and WiFi are all included, so you arrive to a ready home.

The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly – electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer among the basics. Upstairs there's an enclosed garden with a patio looking out over the farm. Parking for three cars is on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property is set up for families with a travel cot and highchair available.

Shared facilities on the farm include an indoor heated swimming pool (3.5m by 9.5m), a hard tennis court and a small gym. Woodland walks start from the property itself. The North York Moors are close enough to explore by foot or car, and Pickering's steam railway – famous from the television series Heartbeat – runs through the area six miles away. The Yorkshire coast, including Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, is forty-five minutes' drive. No smoking inside the property.
