How lucky ( not unlucky) to break down half a mile from Swan House. 6hrs wait no joy with fixing the car so we decided to stay. Lucky there was a room available and it was a beautiful room, very cosy warm had everything in we needed. Onto the bar it was well stocked and reasonable priced. There was a hen party going on so it was very busy but everyone got served quickly. The owners were amazing asking us if was okay after a very stressful day. The locals who are staying them were very friendly and even invited us to sit with them and share there cheese and crackers. Next time we pop up to the North East we definitely booking up again. All in all it was a amazing time spent here and we would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stopover at Swan House. We had an excellent pitch for our campervan, saying that, all pitches are brilliant. The facilities are second to none. On arrival the owner introduced himself, he was very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant/pub on the grounds is very.... 'village pub themed ' this adds to the ambience ( It is also very reasonably priced.) The facilities and grounds are immaculately well kept and secure, All campers were very pleasant and helpful. This is a great base to relax in or use as a spot to access Cleveland, North Yorkshire and County Durham. Definitely 5 stars plus. Will be using this spot regularly.

What a truly amazing place! The owner John is such a lovely man, nothing is a bother, made us feel so welcome. Met some fantastic people, enjoyed a game of bingo, even went on the karaoke which I never do lol, myself and my husband just felt so relaxed. Our chalet was gorgeous, beautiful views, everything was spotless, bed was so comfy, and our breakfast was delicious, this is now our new favourite place to stay! Loved every minute! Would highly recommend Swan house 10/10 ❤️
