For £25 a night including more electricity than we could use this place is spot on. Sure it's a bit rough around the edges but given places 5 minutes drive away closer to the coast are charging £40 a night or more and are often fully booked this is going to be a new regular. Flat hard standing pitches, loads of room for the kids to run around and adventure in the woods plus perfectly good toilets and showers.. It's an absolute bargain for the area

I booked up for 1 night to see how the children would cope. Dog friendly, clean toilet facilities and a park for children to play in. The campsite is quiet in regards to guests, however you can hear trains and it's underneath a flight path. Overall I would probably go back as the children and dog loved it.

Stayed here for one night to test out our camping capabilities and prepare the kids for a camping trip further a field later in the year and realised we lived down the road from a hidden beauty. The owners were absolutely lovely and very welcoming, the site was clean and full of hidden adventures. It had everything we needed, was dog friendly and if we didn’t have plans for the rest of the week we would have happily stayed for the rest of the holidays. Toilets were clean and had shower facilities, round the back of the toilet block was a wash station for washing all the camping pots and pans. The site was well maintained and out the way so no noise from passing traffic, heard the odd train go by but the kids love it. We are gutted we didn’t stay longer. Would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be returning again.

Oh dear, this site has such potential and the intentions are good. There's a wooded area, wildlife pond and play area. There's a newly laid out meadow camping area. It's a real shame the cleaning standards are so low and there are piles of rubble around the edge of the meadow area. The same hair was in the sink the whole 2 nights we stayed and the cubicle doors and latches looked like they had never been cleaned. Not good in a pandemic. There were lovely paths into the woods, all dead ends.
