Beacon House is a characterful listed building that combines period details with up-to-date essentials. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms accommodate six guests comfortably, while a wood-burning fire in the living room provides genuine warmth through cooler months. The kitchen is equipped for full self-catering, and essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included in your stay.

The cottage sits within Beacon Hill Farm Holiday Cottages near Morpeth, in reach of Northumberland's coastline and countryside. A pub is within a mile, and the grounds offer outdoor space to use. One dog or cat stays free of charge. Morpeth itself is walkable for everyday amenities, and the wider region—from coastal villages to castle ruins and open moorland—rewards exploration from this base. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Have just spent another lovely week at Beacon Hill with the 2nd and 3rd generations of our family! Our happy place! Thank you Alun and now Chris for all the hard work that goes into providing such a brilliant place to be! Was lovely to see you both again. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we can get back. Regards Ann & Archie

Fantastic stay in a beautiful location only 10 minutes from Morpeth but vit feels like you could be an hour away in the middle of northumberland. So its a perfect base if you want to explore but also perfect for the complete relaxation stay utilising the amazing leasure facilities. A perfect holiday for adults and kids, with so much on offer for both.

We stayed for a week in Beaconhill Cottage. This is our third holiday at Beaconhill and our second stay in Beaconhill Cottage. The cottage is very spacious with a downstairs shower room, utility room, well equipped kitchen, lounge and large conservatory with an additional seating area and dining area. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and another bathroom. We used the week to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Beaconhill. We used the spa daily and the kids loved the games room and multipurpose outdoor court. We brought some board games and we enjoyed a week of very little screen time! We had family staying in our cottages and the large conservatory of Beaconhill cottage was ideal for entertaining. We enjoyed lovely walks in the forest and down to Meg’s Lake. We love Beaconhill and will be returning again next year.

Just come back from a long weekend staying in the hideaway 'Blue Grass'. What a great experience. The hideaway was cosy and included everything you needed including perfect views. The host Alun and Christopher really made you feel welcome, they provided so many little touches that just made our stay so much more. The spa, the observatory, games room and beautiful wild swimming lake. Everything is clean and well kept. Definitely recommend and will come back to try one of the cottages or the tree house 😊
