Cloggy Nook

Rural Northumberland villages near the coast attract those wanting quietness without feeling cut off. Cloggy Nook stands at the end of a small holiday development in a converted 18th-century farm steading, with direct access to enclosed outdoor space and views across open farmland toward the sea.

The cottage is arranged on one floor: a living room with gas stove and Smart TV; a kitchen/dining room fitted for serious cooking, with double oven, hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer; two bedrooms (one with twin beds, one with kingsize bed and en-suite shower); and a family bathroom. Oil heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi are included. There is a cot and highchair available, parking for two cars, and garden games in the outdoor store.

An enclosed patio leads directly from the house to a larger adjoining garden with mature trees, furnished seating and a chiminea. The layout suits families or groups of four who want their own complete space without leaving the property. The cottage is not available to smokers, and is now maintained pet-free for guests with allergies.
