Embleton's golden sands lie within reach on foot, and the North Northumberland coastline stretches invitingly beyond. Beadnell Bay, a few minutes' drive north, draws kayakers and kite surfers; Seahouses harbour, further along, runs regular boat trips to the Farne Islands and has a supermarket and restaurants. Alnwick Castle and its gardens sit 8 miles inland for a different day out. The cottage itself occupies a mid-terraced position at the village edge, with views across farmland toward the sea.

All three bedrooms and both bathrooms are on the ground floor, accessed via two steps from the entrance. The master bedroom has a king bed and ensuite shower; two further single rooms share a family bathroom with a bath and shower. The living space centres on an open fire, with a 32" TV for quieter evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and the enclosed rear garden holds a genuine historical feature—an original dovecote. One car can park on site. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are provided. The property does not permit smoking.

A shop, garage and pubs serving food stand within walking distance. One well-behaved pet stays free.
