Drovers

Northumberland

Built in 1890, Drovers is a two-storey Victorian terrace that has kept much of its original character while gaining modern essentials. The property sits in Morpeth's town centre, where cattle drovers once brought herds to market from the Scottish borders—a history now reflected in the streets and buildings around it. The ground floor holds a living room with a 32-inch TV and gas fire, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, microwave and washing machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed (4ft 6in) and one single (3ft), served by a bathroom with bath and shower. The essentials—Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels—are provided.

An enclosed courtyard with garden furniture offers a private outdoor space, and on-road parking is available. The town centre location puts pubs and independent restaurants within walking distance, while Morpeth station connects directly to London, Edinburgh, Newcastle, York and Durham. The property suits couples or groups of three adults; children under 12 are not accommodated. No smoking indoors.
