Haven Point is a contemporary four-bedroom property built for coastal holidays in South Shields, positioned near South Marine Park with direct access to the beach. The entire house is yours for the duration of your stay, sleeping up to eight guests across bedrooms with their own bathrooms—a king in the main room, two doubles elsewhere, and a fourth with twin singles. Each en-suite is fitted with shower and toilet, though the principal bedroom has a bath as well.
The first floor contains the main living space: an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and air fryer, so you can manage anything from everyday cooking to more ambitious meals. A separate toilet and utility room (with washing machine and tumble dryer) complete this level. Beyond the living space, a patio and sitting area overlook the back garden. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided; gas central heating and hot water take care of themselves. One car can park on site.
The property does not allow smoking. One well-behaved pet is welcome to join you. Check-in is after 4pm and checkout before 10am.

Discrimination against single mothers Drove 45 minutes from Durham Didn’t let me and four kids (12,10,4,2) in because I am a single parent and can’t look after 2 kids under 5 because there is a ‘blind spot’ It was suggested that I bring in another adult so we would be permitted entry? This policy is discriminatory - when you don’t have a 2 parent household - what do you do? This means that you can’t access services My two older kids are used to looking after the little ones and the risk assessment should be based on this. If we had two babies fair enough - but one child nearly 5 and another nearly 3 could easily be looked after by one adult and 2 older children We wasted all the fuel and had 4 dissapointed upset and angry kids. It was suggested that we let the older kids in and we just watch - so out of touch with how it is to raise kids Appreciate the women on the reception just doing their jobs, but Tyneside council needs to review their discriminatory policy Avoid

Amazing Pool, the leisure waters is amazing for my little one. Staff are always on hand to help with any queries you may have. School holidays they put on an inflatable in the main pool. Very accessible and very child friendly. Very busy in School Holidays.

we are 19 year old girls who enjoy coming to this pool regularly, after today’s encounter we will NOT be coming back. we were in the swimming area and were shouted at by an old lifeguard to follow the rules of that pool which we did. he then proceeded to keep watching us and shouting multiple times “get out of this pool and go to the children’s one!!” embarrassing us. whilst the other people in the swimming lane were not following the rules and he was not shouting at them. He belittled us and shouted at us as if we were children. It was motivated by misogyny and ageism. when we spoke to the manager he laughed in my face when i said i wasn't a confident swimmer and explained the situation to him. we were not apologised to by any staff. we did not make a scene and we spoke calmly, then the lifeguard came over and started shouting at us and arguing. no other lifeguard had a problem with our behaviour or swimming today or ever in the past. This is unacceptable and we felt violated and extremely uncomfortable. the staff handled this horribly and unprofessionally.

Great facilities with the slides and the variety of pools. Staff were really friendly however it was very dirty in the changing areas and cafe. Seems like it needs a deep clean and it will be spot on.
