Seahouses is a working fishing village on the Northumberland coast, with a harbour that still lands daily catches, beaches backed by dunes, and enough cafés, fish-and-chip shops and pubs to keep a holiday occupied without trying. Noble Nook sits in a quiet corner of the village centre, a stone-built house refurbished to a high standard and positioned within five minutes' walk of everything—the water, the shops, the restaurants, the lot.
The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: a king on the ground floor, two singles also downstairs, and a double upstairs with its own shower room and toilet. A second bathroom with shower serves the ground floor. The living and dining space is open-plan, with a well-equipped kitchen that has everything from a dishwasher to a coffee machine; a utility room with washing machine handles the laundry. One dog travels free. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. There is private parking for one car on site, plus an enclosed garden with patio furniture, and storage for bikes and golf clubs.
The coastline here offers some of the country's best beaches, and inland lie the dramatic ruins of Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh castles. Low Newton-by-the-Sea, a tiny village clustered around a sandy bay, is a short drive south. The village itself is no-smoking throughout.
