Summerhouse Cottage
Northumberland
Summerhouse Cottage works well for couples or small families after a straightforward seaside break. The bungalow is semi-detached, set among similar properties in the village of Beadnell, and everything is on a single level. Two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with singles—and a bathroom with a bath and shower serve four guests. The living space combines a sitting area with a dining space and kitchen; all the usual appliances are there, including a dishwasher, and you have washing and tumble-drying facilities in the garage. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all provided.
A small sandy bay sits a short walk away, with a longer beach stretching north towards Seahouses, two miles off. Beadnell Bay itself is popular with water-sports enthusiasts; the village has local pubs and cafés within easy reach on foot. The rear garden is enclosed, planted with mature shrubs, and has a summerhouse as a quiet spot to sit. There is parking for one car on site, and a bike store. No smoking inside.
