The Byre

The Byre comes ready to use. Everything essential is here—bed linen, towels, WiFi and heating all included—so you arrive and settle in. The kitchen has a full range of appliances: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and coffee machine. A utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer. The living room centres on a 50" smart TV with electric fire for cooler evenings.

Three bedrooms sleep six. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a kingsize bed and its own ensuite with bath, walk-in shower and toilet. Downstairs are a double and a twin room sharing a family bathroom with bath and shower. The property stands on three levels with parking for three cars on site. One well-behaved dog is welcome. No smoking indoors.

Behind the house, an enclosed garden with decking holds a six-person hot tub and a BBQ. The village of Chatton, a few miles away, has a shop and pub. Wooler—five miles inland—is known for walking, cycling, golf and horse riding, with St Cuthbert's Way nearby for those wanting a challenge. The coast is within reach: Bamburgh with its castle and beach lies eleven miles east, and Berwick-upon-Tweed is further north along the River Tweed.
