Walk through the door of The Dairy Byre and you find yourself in a converted barn with genuine character: exposed stone, electric fire warming the main living space, and a kitchen that actually works for cooking proper meals. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are spread across ground and first floors—two doubles downstairs for flexibility, the third upstairs with its own en-suite for privacy. The property sleeps six and is yours alone, not shared.

Outside, an enclosed garden gives you room to breathe, with decked seating for outdoor meals and a barbecue for warmer days. The private hot tub is the real draw: soak under the sky after walking the Northumberland countryside or visiting Alnwick, Bamburgh or the coast, all within a reasonable drive. Secure bike storage and private parking are both here. Dogs are welcome. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; the place is non-smoking.

Chatton itself is a village with local shops and the Percy Arms nearby, and from here you can reach either the Northumberland coast or the Border hills without fuss. This works for family groups, friends travelling together, or anyone after a country base with a bit of luxury thrown in.
