The Coracle is a traditional end-terrace cottage in Seahouses' old quarter, where the working harbour and village centre sit within easy reach. Everything you need for a coastal break is supplied: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, plus logs for the woodburner are available locally. The ground floor layout keeps everything accessible, with a living room (Freeview TV, DVD and CD player, woodburner), dining area, two bedrooms and a shower room.

The first bedroom has a double bed; the second has bunks. On-road parking is free, and there is a public car park nearby for a small fee. No smoking is permitted. One dog stays free. From here you can walk to the Black Swan Inn and other pubs within a few hundred yards, or to the harbour to arrange boat trips to the Farne Islands. Bamburgh's sandy beaches are a short drive further up the coast. Seahouses itself has shops and restaurants within the village, and the Northumberland Heritage coastline offers plenty for families and groups exploring together.

Perfect really, a few small issues. We stayed here for 3 nights as a gift from my partners mum. Its a really gorgeous cottage. It is very simple and has basically everything you need. The log fire was great and we luckily carry logs and kindling in our car so we had the fore burning every night. I will mention the first use of the fire let off a sort of chemically smell but i assume like most home log burners, its because the fire hadn’t been burned in a while. We used the Tv most nights too which was good. The bed was very comfy and was always warm inside. Unfortunately the fridge kept turning off which was strange but it would come back on after a few minutes. I recommend bringing extra blankets to have on the sofa as there isnt spare bedding or anything and if bringing a dog bring them a bed as its all hard floors. Anyway we had a great time and enjoyed coming back to the cottage after.

We stayed for 1 week at the end of September. The cottage has everything you need. Kitchen takes up the back wall of the combined sitting and kitchen. Fridge freezer has got an annoying noise when is comes to get back up to temp. The bedrooms are OK. Although not keen on sharing 2nd bedroom with a hoover. The bathroom is far too small, the inside of the shower doors need a deep clean with toothbrush and bleach.outside of the cottage you are placed perfectly for the best pubs in town, handy harbour and the mant boat trips that are on offer

The advertised photos looked promising, and it's a shame as the cottage is lovely....now if only they had mentioned that it is literally 10 feet from the black swan in, this is a noisy pub that STARTS a karaoke at 10pm. As a bonus, the schooner in is literally next door as well. Ruined a nice 'quiet' getaway. Also no parking outside or near the cottage, had to pay for public car parks all week. Very disappointed
