Warkworth's castle and riverside walks draw visitors to this Northumberland village, and The Loft sits in the heart of it. The apartment occupies the first floor of a courtyard building, just 100 yards from the river and within easy reach of the village centre's shops, pub and restaurants. A sandy beach lies a mile away, part of a 20-mile stretch of North East coast. Boat trips to Coquet Island leave from nearby Amble; Alnwick Castle and gardens are six miles off.

Inside are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a shower room. The open-plan living space combines a lounge with Freeview TV and Netflix access, a dining area, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Parking is shared, 20 yards from the entrance. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. No smoking is permitted.
