Hotel Hebrides sits in the centre of Tarbert, Harris's main village, within a few minutes' walk of the CalMac ferry terminal to Skye and the Isle of Harris Distillery. It occupies a smart, contemporary building that stands out from the more traditional architecture around it, aimed at a more design-conscious style of Hebridean stay.

Rooms are furnished in a clean, modern style, most with views over Tarbert's harbour or the surrounding hills, and the hotel's bar and restaurant, Bonaven, serve local seafood and meat alongside a well-stocked whisky selection reflecting the island's own distillery.
