Harry has built and idyllic and relaxing campsite. I think it may be the perfect campsite. Flat pitches. Not overly curated. You have a fire pit. Bubbling brook running by. Toilets look basic but actually very nice. harry is very welcoming and helpful

Cannot rate this campsite highly enough. Lovely pitches with great views, countryside walks from your tent, clean facilities and a visiting pizza van. And best of all, totally silent - no car noise at all. The owners are kind and friendly, and went above and beyond to help us when our car broke down on site, checking in and supporting us over several days. Highly recommend!

Been here two years running now. Pros: - Owner is a lovely chap, always around to speak with - lots of pitch space. - flat ground - very peaceful - any groups seem to be placed in the field at the end - lovely walk to local pub. - nearby well stocked shop - fire pits. Bring your own grill Cons - limited toilets and showers, imagine would be waiting on busier weekends. - on the pricier side, for what you get, which is not a lot. But what do you need?! Will go back, if prices don't go up!

I have just spent a few days at Shire camping & had a lovely, relaxing time. Although a little remote on foot it is only a 20 minute walk to the nearest pub; we managed a pleasant walk & cycle there. There was plenty of room on our pitch and the toilet, shower & washing up facilities were excellent. Harry was always on hand & even assisted when my friend left her phone & credit cards on show at our pitch, saving us needing to return from a trip to Moreton-in-Marsh (that is only 30 minutes away). On Saturday night fresh pizzas were made on site which was a nice touch. Many of the campers availed themselves of the logs that were available to purchase as Harry made his evening rounds giving a nice comforting glow. This was a particularly safe location for families with plenty of space to play. The cows, bulls & sheep surrounding the site added to the charm. I will definitely be returning.
