Super friendly hosts, great location, reasonable price. Very dog friendly with a pet fee of £7.50, which is cheaper than most. This is one of the main deciding factors for us as we have one pet dog and a service dog. The double room we stayed in was small but very cozy with a lovely view even though it faced the back of the place. In fact, out of all hotels I've stayed in in this area, this was my favourite room. Quaint, nicely decorated, made us feel at home. Lots of choice on the TV. There was a small but again, cozy, bar downstairs. We slept very well, it was exceptionally quiet and calm. We tend to get quite hot in hotels overnight, so being able to open the windows quite wide was a huge plus. Very satisfied with our stay and would like to stay again.

Just got back from a two night weekend stay at The Sands. Such a great location, lovely waking up to a sea view. Chas and Maz were such wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room and bathroom and lovely fluffy towels. We are booking the same for next month ❤️

The owners are very very helpful now this would of been a 5 🌟 we were here for 3 nites and our room dint get cleaned I went out all day left clean room on but when owner got back I spoke to him he said cleaner was off and they had emergency had to go change there car breakfast is ok it’s smoked bacon you get so little portion for £10 asked for sunny side runny eggs but not once did I get that it’s well equipped for a baby they had everything we needed was brilliant to be fair

Just come back from a lovely 4 night stay @ The Sands for my birthday. Lovely view from our window of the sea & hosts were really friendly. Everywhere was so nice & clean & the breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for the day. Parking @ front & rear well managed so didn't get blocked in. Will be back next year.
