About Caerfai Bay Caravan and Tent Park

Caerfai Farm sits on the clifftop above Caerfai Bay, about a mile south of St Davids, and is one of the most dramatically positioned campsites on the Pembrokeshire coast. The site spreads across four fields on a working organic dairy farm, with the prized cliff field pitched directly beside the coast path—tents literally wake to sea views and the trail at their doorstep. Inner fields offer more shelter when Atlantic winds pick up, which they do. A small sandy cove with rock pools lies five minutes down the cliff path, and the farm shop sells organic Caerphilly and cheddar made on site, along with milk and local produce, sparing the drive into St Davids for basics.

Facilities are solid rather than elaborate: hot showers, laundry, electric hook-ups, and that's about it. No pool, no playground, no bar—deliberately so. The season runs mid-May to September only, and the exposure is real; lightweight tents in a gale will struggle. But for coast path walkers and families wanting sea, cathedral, and trail all within fifteen minutes, few sites in Britain deliver quite this combination of access and drama.

Lovely campsite with stunning views directly next to a beautiful coastal path and small beach/cove. The facilities were clean and tidy and there was never a queue. The site was peaceful. They offer pitches for tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans as well as static caravans. They have electric grass pitches for tents. It's a very windy site due to the position next to the coast. It's a short walk into St Davids which has nice pubs and restaurants, as well as the beautiful cathedral. Only a short drive from St Justinian for boat trips to see Skomer, Ramsey and Grassholm and enjoy incredible seabird and dolphin experiences. There is a small camp shop and hut nearby selling freshly made pizzas. All in all this is a lovely site in a great location. I travelled alone and felt very safe at the site. Going back in September with family to enjoy it again!

A well presented and managed campsite with excellent amenities. Showers and toilets are kept in fantastic condition as too are other shared areas. Access is a little tight for larger motorhomes and caravans as the site is accessed by a narrow single track road that also doubles as a footway for pedestrians. Great views from all pitches.

Without question the most beautiful location I’ve ever stayed in my van. The site is privately run and clearly well cared for. The facilities are top drawer, well maintained and spotless and the location itself is exquisite. Lots of walking to do in the area, great, friendly local pubs, and St David’s is a 15 minute stroll away. If I was an influencer I’d be posting videos all about this “hidden gem” but I’m not so I’m privately hoping nobody ever reads this so I’ll have the place to myself the next time I visit 😉

Really well kept campsite round right on the coastal path and only a 15-20 walk into St David's. We did the round trip via the coastal path, turn off at At Nons. The Bishops food was good. The campsite facilities were excellent, very clean and well set out. All recycling available and water filling and emptying. Great site.
