A campsite near St Davids
About Clwb Camping
Tucked on the northern edge of Britain's smallest city, Clwb Camping occupies a sports field that doubles as a wonderfully unfussy campsite within striking distance of St Davids Cathedral, Whitesands Bay's surf breaks, and the emerald waters of Porthclais Harbour. The no-frills approach—basic toilets, rugby club showers, campfires welcome—lets you pitch how you please, whether that's action-packed surf weekends or peaceful pottering around pilgrimage spots. Dogs are welcome year-round, and the on-site bar serves food and lays on live entertainment at weekends, though some visitors note facilities can feel a touch tired in places.
Location is the real draw here. You're a short walk from St Davids' cathedral, restaurants, and independent shops, yet firmly inside the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with trails leading to Blue Lagoon, Marloes Sands, and the Skomer Island ferry. It's an ideal base for walkers, surfers, and anyone keen to explore this spectacular corner of Wales without unnecessary fuss.

What visitors say
Superb little site with everything you need. Spotless facilities and grounds, Phil and his team do an amazing job!! Dog friendly with a large dog walking area separate to the site itself. Really close to the beach and Blue Lagoon with a short drive to St David’s. Would 100% recommend!

Great little site. Friendly and helpful staff. Good toilet/shower facility, with laundry. Fresh water taps are available with grey and toilet waste. Great location for walks and visit local places of interest. Didn't use bus stops outside the entrance. Do need ramps if in motorhome. Only thing not mentioned on site into, fairly narrow road to site with passing places. Would certainly recommend

Fantastic site. A very warm welcome when I arrived and super helpful throughout my stay. Lovely views over the fields to one side and coastline to the other, clean and tidy facilities including laundry, toilets, showers and waste disposal. The shower room is nice and warm, and comes equipped with a hairdryer. Good WiFi on site.
