About The Paddock Camping

Tucked into gorgeous North Pembrokeshire countryside, this tiny farm site strikes a lovely balance between wild simplicity and thoughtful extras. The well-stocked farm shop keeps you supplied with local produce for the barbecue, and there's a café on hand for coffee and cakes when you fancy a break from campfire cooking.

You're ideally placed for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, with the Coast Path just 20 minutes' drive away and beaches like Newgale and Whitesands Bay within easy reach for surfing, coasteering or simply lazing on the sand. The mini-city of St Davids – home to its sprawling cathedral and departure point for boat trips to Ramsey and Skomer – is also 20 minutes away, while waterfront towns like Porthclais make for lovely pottering.

In keeping with the wild camping vibe, facilities are minimal: a loo block and recycling, but no hot water. As this is a dark site, bring a torch to avoid nighttime mishaps. It's a wonderfully peaceful spot, popular with families, cyclists and Duke of Edinburgh groups alike.

Great camping with lovely owners, well stocked farm shop (wide variety of jams and chutneys made on site). Bonus cute dogs and great local suggestions on what to do 🥰

Very pleasant stay in the campsite far away from crowded, touristic campings by the shore. We were the only tourists there and had all camping field for ourselves. The owners were very friendly and hospitable, they let us stay overnight without pre-reservations or anything. The facilities at the campsite (toilets, showers) were clean and they look like they are well taken care of. We are very grateful for the wonderful stay.

We had the most delightful stay here for one night. Friendly hosts who had a lovely cat who hung out with us all evening and morning. They also had the most adorable dogs who we got to hang out with for most of the morning as we had our breakfast and packed up the car. Nice hot shower and clean toilet facilities. We will definitely come and stay again. Thank you!

The couple who run the campsite were really lovely. I was travelling on my own and they offered me recommendations for places to eat. They answered my questions about the facilities and I had a really nice chat with them. I would visit again if I’m in the area.
