About Thornbush Glamping

A tiny adults-only glampsite tucked into lush Pembrokeshire countryside near Haverfordwest, Thornbush Glamping offers just a handful of creatively designed boho bell tents spaced across one massive field for maximum privacy. Each romantic canvas hideaway comes kitted out with a proper double bed, cosy bean bags, cuddly blankets and quality patterned linen, plus a private seating area outside for alfresco barbecues. The shared camping kitchen has everything you need for rustling up a feast, while hot showers, washing-up facilities and a composting loo handle the practicalities. Guests praise the spacious, well-maintained pitches and genuinely helpful welcome.

West Wales's long sandy beaches and favoured surf spots lie within half an hour's drive, and the scenic Pembrokeshire Coast Path beckons walkers practically from the tent door. Fishing, sailing, wild swimming – there's masses to do. Note that despite the farm setting, dogs aren't permitted here, so leave four-legged friends at home for this peaceful, grown-ups-only escape.

What visitors say

We recently stayed at Thornybush on the secure camping pitch with our two Sprockers, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The pitch was exceptionally well equipped, with the added luxury of having two private toilets, a shower, and a washing-up area complete with a freezer. Everything was spotlessly clean and clearly very well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and ensuring that everything was perfect throughout our visit. The site itself is wonderfully peaceful, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. For dog owners, Thornybush is fantastic. The secure dog field on site gave our two Sprockers plenty of space to run and play safely, which they absolutely loved. There is also a small honesty shop on site which is very reasonably priced and stocked with a great selection of essentials and treats, making it a really thoughtful addition to the site. Overall, this was an absolutely amazing stay, and we genuinely can't wait to return. We hope to become regular guests at Thornybush and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-maintained, and dog-friendly site.

We had a fantastic stay at Thorny Bush in the enclosed camping pitch with our dog whoxh gave us peace of mind and. Made the stay more relaxing. The facilities were excellent, including a sink area and a great hot shower, which was much appreciated after a long day out. We loved the honesty shed with fresh eggs available, and Vicki couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is perfect, with plenty of lovely walks and beautiful beaches nearby. A peaceful, well-maintained, and dog-friendly campsite that we would happily recommend.

We had a wonderful stay on the private camping pitch and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Vicki gave us such a lovely welcome and she and Chris were incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Their recommendations and information packet really helped us plan out our days! We especially loved how dog friendly everything was. It was our first camping trip with our dog Cooper, and so we were a bit anxious about how he would handle camping. But after seeing every little detail that has been thought of, we were instantly relaxed. The whole pitch is fenced in, the facilities are close by, and there were even some treats waiting for Cooper! It really made such a difference knowing our dog was genuinely welcomed rather than just tolerated. Chris and Vicki have truly gone the extra mile to make sure you and your dogs have the best experience. The facilities were excellent and very well maintained, the shower is lovely and hot, and the dog field was a fantastic bonus that Cooper absolutely loved. The sign to show it’s in use is an excellent touch, so you can rest assured you won’t have any run ins while playing. Overall, it was a brilliant stay in a beautiful setting, and we cannot recommend it enough! Thank you for making Coopers first camping experience the best it could have been!

Absolutely Gem of a campsite. First time camping with our rescue lab and was unsure how he would be camping. My partner found this place and I was unsure at the beginning as seemed expensive however I was very wrong. The whole pitch is fenced in including the toilets and shower area. So your dog can follow and always be safe. The views around the pitch are pretty special too as its so secluded. The pitch is also huge so much room and you can park your car/van in the fenced off area too. Also you can have a fire pit too. There is a private dog field on site too. The owners are fantastic too, lots of local advise and spots to visit. Honestly worth every penny and I wish I could give it more stars. Made the trip great and stress free.
