About Y Bwthyn
Fancy a spot of rural relaxation a short walk from the village pub and with easy access to famed Welsh castles and coastline? Then take a break at Y Bwthyn, a peaceful place surrounded by farmland and a 15-minute trot from the pub in Llandissilio. This small, wildlife-rich site welcomes tents, motorhomes and well-behaved dogs year-round, with pitches spread across spacious fields where energetic small fry can romp about with impunity.
Guests are welcome to set up their own barbecue or campfire for warm alfresco soirées, with individual firepits, wood and kindling available to request on arrival for an extra charge. The basics are well covered—a clean toilet and shower block, washing-up area, recycling and chemical disposal—and the owner's happy to arrange pick-ups from public transport.
Perhaps they'd like to play at being knights at Laugharne Castle or build sandcastles on Saundersfoot beach? Both are within a half-hour drive, and the coastline's watersports, surf schools and coastal paths are all wonderfully close by.

Lovely cottage on a quiet country lane about a mile from the sea. Lovely and clean through out with a large ish kitchen/ diner and a lovely lounge up a few steps. All the bedrooms are on the ground floor as is the large bathroom. All the beds were comfy and the lounge was large and airy with big comfy sofas. Fantastic place to explore from or just to relax and enjoy the countryside. Sea views from the kitchen and lounge. Really recommend.

First, great communication with and a warm welcome from the host. A lovely ground floor house with spacious rooms, relaxing vibe, and garden with view of sea and sunset in the distance. It's welcomingly isolated, so you probably need a car, but a peaceful air. About half a mile from the coast - so ideal to think of it as home whilst exploring the area.

Lovely little cottage it looks quite small from outside, inside on the other hand is beautiful, very clean and tidy . The space has been very well used with plenty of room for us all.
