My wife and I (in our early 70s) were a bit dubious about staying in a youth hostel but the location and price were right for a one night stay as we walked the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. We were, however, delighted with the experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the place was great and the cafe food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. Most surprising was that it was very quiet at night.

A very affordable accommodation right by the beach (the accommodation shares the car park with the beach). An excellent no frills facility where I felt safe and was able to rest well and prepare for the next day of activity.

Fabulous hostel and incredibly affordable for the UK! Thoroughly recommended for overnights, and great for the week I stayed. The whole property is step-free and accessible, and special wheelchairs for the beach are available (rental, I think). Shout out to Sam who was brilliant during my stay :) Huge self-catering kitchen with everything you need, including ovens which is unusual. Rooms are fairly-sized with comfortable beds. Not a lot of storage space, but it's not a deal-breaker. Large dining area with partial glass ceiling and views over the ocean. Outdoor seating front and back. Common area has great wifi and useful tables. Staff were helpful, knowledgeable about the property and area, friendly, and responsive. There's loads of parking outside with an electric charging unit, but it's run by the national parks so you have to get a parking disc from the front desk for your stay, and pronto. They will check! If they're not open you can always throw a pound in the machine until staff are back; the front desk isn't always manned.
