Penrhiw Fach – The Cwtch is a single-storey lodge in rural Pembrokeshire, set back from a rough track in an elevated position overlooking the Gwaun Valley. Everything you need for a self-catering stay is here: the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob and microwave; heating, electricity, wifi and bed linen are all covered; and the welcome pack includes extras for dogs, who stay without charge.
The open-plan interior combines living, dining and sleeping areas under one roof. A kingsize bed sits at one end, a wood-burning stove at the other, with a kitchenette and shower room completing the layout. French doors open onto a patio where you can use the barbecue. There is parking for one car on site, and a utility room with shared washing and tumble-drying facilities. No smoking indoors.
Goodwick village – shops, pubs and restaurants – is a short walk away, and the North Pembrokeshire coast, including walks to Strumble Head lighthouse, is within easy reach. The property works equally well as a base for coastal exploration or as somewhere to retreat to after a day out.

Second visit for my family of 10. Huge farmhouse that gives you plenty of space, bedrooms, bathrooms, and outside area. Lovely hot tub, BBQ and outside seating. The peace and tranquility of being in the countryside is unmeasured. Fabulous 3 night break
