Southwood Cottage

Pembrokeshire's coastline draws visitors for its beaches and dramatic cliffs, but few cottages sit quite so close to the water as Southwood Cottage. It stands within walking distance of Newgale beach, with a public footpath running past the property and the sand just five minutes on foot. The county town of St David's, home to a 12th-century cathedral and the remains of the Bishop's Palace, lies ten minutes' drive inland and offers galleries, restaurants and traditional pubs.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a king in the master with an ensuite shower, a second king upstairs, and a double. Two bathrooms serve the property. The ground-floor living and dining space looks out towards the sea, with a woodburner for colder evenings and a Smart TV for entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Outside, the rear garden is lawned with a summer house, and a hot tub seats six on the patio. The front garden has additional seating to take in the views across St Brides Bay. There is private parking for three cars. The property is non-smoking throughout.
