What visitors say
The campsite itself was decent enough, with plenty of hardstanding and grass pitches, a children's play area, a washing-up area and a bar (although we didn't use it). Unfortunately, the toilet and shower block completely let the site down. We paid £10 per person, per night, plus £10 per night for our dog, which felt very expensive considering the condition of the facilities. We were only given one key fob, meaning we had to take turns using the toilets and showers. More importantly, the cleanliness was nowhere near the standard we'd expected. Despite it being stated that the facilities were cleaned daily, there were clumps of hair stuck to the shower walls, one shower was blocked with standing water, there were cobwebs everywhere and an excessive number of spiders, along with bits of tissue left on the toilet floor. The whole block looked tired and poorly maintained. It's a real shame because the campsite itself has potential, but for the price we paid, the facilities simply weren't good enough. We won't be returning, and with so many better campsites around Conwy, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Stayed here in a campervan with wife and dog. The lady on reception was so helpful and nice. The location is perfect and very peaceful. The terrace on the bar is a stunning spot to watch the sun come down over the sea with fantastic views of puffin Island and anglesey. We'll be back soon.

What a beautiful site. Bar available and lovely outside area looking over the coast (no cooked food available, just bar snacks). Staff were very friendly and informative and there's a bus stop into Conwy right outside (buy a daysaver for £6.80 to get the full benefit).

One of our favourite caravan sites, central to so many things to do, lovely setting, great site and kid friendly. Lyons sites are always great, but this is one of the absolute best
