Maple Chalet 12
Perth and Kinross
Maple Chalet 12 is a detached Scandinavian-built property on the Loch Monzievaird estate, two miles from Crieff in Perthshire. Everything you need for a self-catering stay comes as standard: electricity and central heating are covered, as are bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. The chalet sleeps up to eight across three bedrooms—a double, two singles and a pair of bunks—with one bathroom combining a bath and shower. One car can be parked on site.
The entire accommodation sits on the ground floor, arranged around an open-plan living space that includes a dining area and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. There's a fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher, plus a Freeview TV in the lounge. The setting matters here: the chalet occupies an elevated position overlooking the loch, positioned across 40 acres of a historic Highland estate. The location suits both families and small groups looking for a quiet base. Within reach are Aberfeldy, Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Perth; Edinburgh and Glasgow are farther but accessible. On the estate itself, guests can walk, fish seasonally, use the playing field, or book activities like boat rides and zip-lining over the water. No smoking is permitted in the chalet. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
