About Comrie Croft Eco Camping

Comrie Croft Eco Camping sits on a working farmstead where pitches range from Nordic tents to basic hostel bunks. Guests arrive to a relaxed, informal setup with bike trails starting from the site itself—the on-site bike hire and cafe make it easy to stay put for the day without planning ahead. Showers are available, and the farm's own market garden and cafe are just a few minutes' walk from the pitches, so fresh food and a proper coffee are close by.

The site draws mountain bikers of all levels, drawn by easy access to local trails, but the farmstead setting and variety of sleeping options also appeal to those after a straightforward, low-key break. The natural surroundings and informal atmosphere mean it suits people wanting to keep things simple rather than those after manicured facilities or entertainment.

We had a fantastic camping weekend at Comrie Croft, staying in the Far Away Meadow tent pitch. from May 29th to 31st, 2026. The whole site is beautiful and felt very well-organized. We appreciated the dedicated drop-off area for unloading our gear before moving the car to the main car park. The facilities were excellent, including clean toilets, a wash-up area, and showers near reception. We made good use of the fire pits available at the pitch for a perfect camping atmosphere. There is a great selection of micro-businesses on-site, offering everything from bike hire to a cafe, which adds a lot to the experience. Highly recommend Comrie Croft for a brilliant weekend escape!

summer and Nancy for ever

I am giving a 4 star only because of the lack of facilities. The toilets and showers were maybe also not to our parties liking and feel they maybe needed more. We also would of liked to see a laundrette of some sort or at least a warm drying room. But the good parts. The field was huge and you could pitch anywhere you wanted. We were on the slow worm field. A bit of a trek up to the toilets but it was all good. The staff were always very polite and happy to see you. The little shop was awesome. Had lovely fresh fruit daily and you could get fresh milk and rolls every day. Just remember your own milk jug but they do have ones on site. The cafe was lovely and one of the best sausage rolls i have ever had. The walks around camp is beautiful we went up to the waterfall often. It was fantastic to see so Many kids enjoying the bike tracks . But be aware if you’re on the slowworm field, the truck goes round that and you still had bikes going round about 11 o’clock at night in the summer. So I know it was a lovely site. Could be a bit cleaner and a bit more facilities, but we really did enjoy our time there.

Comrie croft was recommended to me. Will definitely be back. This campsite is absolutely stunning. Although myself and my son are not into mountain biking, I would still highly recommend staying here. The facilities and staff are exceptional. Being on a campsite hearing adults and children and all having a great time just made it so much even better. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was just wonderful. I would rate comrie croft 10 stars if I could. Thank you to everyone for a great holiday. You all made.my sons 1st camping trip one to remember

Excellent stay! 2nd time staying and stayed in the katas. Lovely quiet woodland area. Kata was located up a steep hill. You can drive up to the campsites for loading and unloading but you can not park near site. Lovely place to get away and enjoy nature. The showers are a bit of a walk up and down that same steep hill. There is 1 mobility accessible kata near the main building if you have mobility issues.
